Cob House Fishery

A warm welcome to Cob House Fishery, a coarse fishery that offers peaceful fishing in beautiful surroundings and caters for both the visiting pleasure angler and match angler alike.

Anglers can currently enjoy eight coarse fishing pools on a day ticket, with four of the pools also available for match bookings. We also run regular open matches, details of which can be found on our Match Fishing Page.

Four established old Victorian stew ponds offer mixed fishing amongst beautifully mature bank side vegetation and a wealth of wildlife. There are some good sized carp in these pools, with several at least over the twenty pound mark. Perch over 3lb are a regular catch on Listers End especially. Our match pools are well stocked pools giving the visiting angler the chance to catch a large ‘bag’ of fish consisting mainly of our hard fighting Cob House Carp reared on our own Fish Farm. These can be booked as a whole pool or by the peg. Don’t forget the weekday breakfast and fishing offers and there are many things for the family to do whilst on site so please check out the rest of our website.

Our popular Cob House Academy gives juniors of all abilities the chance to learn to fish and develop their angling skills. Our qualified coaches are on hand to guide youngsters into what can become a life-long pastime. Junior Angling Dates
