About Sports Fisher Boats
Two ex-Sealine employees, Paul Newbon and Anthony Waters, with 55 years combined experience in the marine industry, have teamed up with an investor, Brian Williams, to increase the manufacture of a low maintenance open sports/fishing boat – the new Sports Fisher 500.

Both Paul and Anthony have been involved in the high-volume manufacture of luxury cruisers. Paul went on to run his own boat repair and maintenance business, then moved to the automotive industry for a while. More recently he has revived his involvement in boatbuilding, and brings valuable experience of highly efficient manufacturing processes to this exciting project.

Following the withdrawal of Sealine’s US parent company from its UK manufacturing base in the West Midlands, Anthony set up Sealine Support Services to continue warranty work and maintenance of Sealine boats throughout Europe. He also diversified into other projects within the leisure industry, while continuing with general boat maintenance. In partnership with Paul, he has recently been focusing his skills and experience on the development and manufacture of the Sports Fisher 500.

Brian is an enthusiastic businessman who has a varied portfolio of successful ventures. As owner of the new company he brings the capital investment needed for stepping up production of this current boat and expanding the business to develop new models. He also brings astute business skills and extensive experience of managing growing companies.
