F.W. Knight began trading in menswear at Evesham Market Place in 1902, moving to the High Street in 1907. Knights Menswear is the oldest retail business in Evesham today.

Reg Slade has been the manager of Knights Menswear for over 40 years. The success of Knights is down to his experienced and personal style of management.

Frequenters of Knights regularly comment that Reg is similar to a personal shopper, guiding expertly both gentlemen and their wives.

Treating everyone as an individual, Reg remembers names, histories and sizes to make shopping at Knights a highly pleasurable experience. Managing for over 40 years means he has built up very strong relationships with customers and many have developed into friendships.

Rob and Peter are the 3rd generation of the Millard family to own the business, after their Grandfather acquired it in 1936. As customers of Knights themselves, the family knew what a great service the shop provided to the community.
