About Us
Thrupp Tyres is owned by two friends, Jim and Chris, who are both motoring enthusiasts, Jim being a classic car and bike enthusiast while Chris is a classic car enthusiast and historic car racer. Between them, they own classic cars, historic racing cars and motor bikes.

Chris is the retired director of a large local engineering company while Jim has had twenty six years of experience in the tyre business in and around Gloucester and Cheltenham.

They both felt there was room in the market for a small, helpful and honest tyre supplier where good and friendly service is offered and prices are low.

As there is a huge range of tyre manufacturers, it can be quite confusing trying to find the right tyre for your vehicle and the use you put it to at the most cost effective price.

We supply and fit tyres from all the top brands and can also offer a broad selection of “mid range” and “budget” brands which can provide good performance at a competitive price.

You can be sure we will give you straightforward and honest advice to help you with your purchase.

We hold a stock of many common sizes but can get most other brands and sizes within half a day. We also supply and fit snow and off road tyres.
